Eminem Drops #Kamikaze Album Bombshell: Tracklisting, Download Info And Reaction.

Nobody saw this one coming…

This is probably the most exciting year in Hip-Hop since 1996 when Tupac declared a coastal war against The Notorious B.I.G and every other East-Coast rapper.

Eminem just halted the rotation of the planet with his surprise-album Kamikaze. Social media went into a frenzy when Slim Shady dropped a link that led to his 13-track LP.

Many had already regarded the legendary MC as a washed lyricist that dropped a subpar offering with Revival.

It seemed that the media and the Hip-Hop community had turned against the Detroit rapper, calling his collaborations with Beyoncè and Pink a corny attempt to remain relevant on radio circulation.

The poor output of the album even spawned a negative criticism from his longtime Slaughterhouse cohort and Shady Records artist, Joe Budden, who wasted no time in calling for Slim’s retirement.

Well, Eminem just called checkmate on his haters with Kamikaze. He leaves no stone unturned on this highly charged response to every single person or bot that expressed doubt about his ability to produce critically-acclaimed material.

This time around, Eminem leaves his emotional attachment to healing the world with aspirational music at the door. On Revival, we were met with a reflective man who has withstood life’s adversities.

He put together a body of work that was meant for those who needed motivational support. However, in Hip-Hop, that is not enough.

The drug-influenced mumble rap and trap beats rule the day and central messages about saving lives died when the community denounced Macklemore.

That is why he sought after the help of lyrically-acclaimed Joyner Lucas, You will remember his politically-charged I’m not a Racist music video that re-energised the conversation of separatist politics in the US.

It is not surprising that Royce Da 5’9” made the cut on Kamikaze, the Bad Meets Evil duo have always been in competition about who the greatest is between the two of them. However, it blew our minds to realise that the lyrical contest unconventionally took place on a Tay Keith instrumental.

The surprise album dropped at midnight and nobody was ready for this one. People most definitely went to the music apps they are subscribed to and searched for it.

However, to some’s disappointment, it was not yet available on streaming platforms like Tidal, Deezer and Google Play.

The album is only available on Spotify and iTunes or Apple Music for now. Sure enough, in a day or two, the rest of the streaming services will have it too.

Social media reacts to #Kamikaze

People on social media were not only shocked by the unannounced release of the GOAT’s (Greatest of all Time) album – because that has become the trend for big artists.

It was the content of the album that shook everyone. Eminem was coming for everyone’s head. Even pettier is releasing the album as a gift to Joe Budden on his birthday, one of the people he really dismantles throughout the project.

One user commented on how none of the rappers Eminem went after will have the balls to respond to the GOAT.

Eminem just dissed all of your favorite rappers by name and not a single one of them is going to do shit about it. #Kamikaze #Eminem
